Grignon, bastion of resistance during the war - Les Echos, 3/9
Find out in this article how Grignon first became a rehabilitation center for the war-disabled, then a bastion of the Resistance. Dive into the heart of an era when Grignon was much more than a school.
"At the helm of Grignon from May 1941 to April 1943, Eugène Vandervynckt tried to protect the institution and its occupants to the very end. In particular, he tried to avoid the STO (Obligatory Labor Service) for students, and to preserve Grignon's resources (crops, herds, etc.) threatened by the occupying forces. In early 1943, he joined the Prosper network."
Much more than an emblematic site for agriculture, it's a true national heritage to be preserved!
